1. Who we are and scope
1.1 Controller.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Wayanjo L.L.C-FZ is the operator of SocialShade and the controller of personal data processed through the Platform, except where another party is expressly identified as controller for a specific activity.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through account registration, campaign participation, website use, communications, payout onboarding, verification, support interactions, and related business operations.

2.1 Categories.
• Identity and profile data, such as name, alias, handle, date of birth, profile image, and verification identifiers.

• Content and analytics data, such as links, posts, screenshots, channel analytics, audience data, engagement metrics, and other submission verification materials.
• Financial and compliance data, such as payout method details, invoices, tax forms, billing information, KYC documents, sanctions-screening inputs, and fraud-risk indicators.
• Marketing and communications preferences and records of consent, notices, complaints, and dispute files.
3. Why we process personal data
3.1 Purposes.
• To create and administer user accounts and provide platform functionality.
• To match users with campaigns, review submissions, calculate earnings, and process payouts.
• To verify identity, detect fraud, investigate abuse, manage security incidents, and protect the Platform, advertisers, and users.
• To communicate with users, provide support, enforce contracts, resolve disputes, and maintain records.
• To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, sanctions, anti-fraud, and audit requirements.
• To improve services, perform internal analytics, develop features, and market the Platform where lawful.
4. Legal bases
4.1 Legal grounds.
We process personal data on one or more lawful grounds that may include contract performance, compliance with legal obligations, protection against fraud and abuse, our legitimate business interests where applicable, and consent where consent is required. If consent is used, it may be withdrawn, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.

Because SocialShade may operate internationally, personal data may be accessed or processed in countries other than the user’s country of residence, including by vendors and partners. We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including contractual performance, payout administration, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and defence of claims.
